Welcome to the NEW Arkansas Governor's Quiz Bowl Association Website! We are planning on adding some new features soon, especially to the students page so check back throughout the fall and let us know if you have any more suggestions and check back for updates!

NEW CONFERENCES
There are new conferences as of this 2008-2010 AAA reclassification.
Check where you are this time - they were re-done to be sure and have no fewer than 7-8 teams per
site.
NEW INFO for this years Junior High Camp
This year Jr High Camps will be held on TWO different Saturday's--Dec 6 and 13. We are doing this in an effort to accommodate more students in the four quadrants of the state and to allow for students and coaches to pick between two dates in case of conflicts with other events which would otherwise not allow students to participate. December 6 sites will be Jonesboro at Valley View School and Sheridan at Sheridan School. December 13 will sites will be Hot Springs at National Park Community College and Pea Ridge and Pea Ridge School. Allison Silva is overall Jr High Camp Director allison.silva@england.k12.ar.usBoard members on the Jr. High Camp Committee responsible for individual sites are Ron Bishop at Jonesboro rbishop@vv.k12.ar.us; Marsha Eggburn at Sheridan marshaeggburn@sheridanschools.org; Allison Silva at Hot Springs allison.silva@england.k12.ar.us; Connie Grau at Pea Ridge cgrau@prs.k12.ar.us. Students will play a number of quiz bowl games, have a variety of activity sessions designed to improve skills as a quiz bowl player and encourage interaction with students of other teams. Both individual and team performance will be emphasized. A coach must attend with players at this level.
